Inventory Accountant
J-Six Group is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Accountant to monitor, record, and reconcile inventory transactions, ensuring accurate stock records and inventory valuation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and valuations
- Perform inventory reconciliations and analyze variances
- Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and write-offs
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams on stock management
- Prepare inventory-related journal entries and reports
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory or cost accounting
- Knowledge of inventory valuation methods
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proximity to location is essential
