Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEAL) Officer – PREHYA

The Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEAL) Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining project monitoring tools and databases, collecting and analyzing project data, tracking project indicators, conducting field monitoring visits, supporting assessments, managing beneficiary feedback, ensuring data quality, and producing reports. This role requires a candidate with a background in MEAL, strong analytical skills, and experience in donor-funded projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project monitoring tools and databases.
• Collect, verify, analyze, and report project data.
• Track project indicators against targets.
• Conduct routine field monitoring visits.
• Support assessments, surveys, and evaluations.
• Manage beneficiary feedback and complaint mechanisms.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with data protection standards.
• Produce monthly monitoring reports and dashboards.
• Facilitate learning and reflection sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Monitoring & Evaluation, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEAL within humanitarian or development programs.
• Proficiency in Excel, Kobo Collect, ODK, Power BI, or other data management tools.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Experience with donor-funded projects, preferably ECHO-funded.
• Commitment to humanitarian principles and safeguarding.
• Ability to work in diverse and challenging environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel within project locations as required.
