Business Development Specialist – Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals

The Business Development Specialist will focus on refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, fertilizer, methanol, gas processing, LNG, storage terminals, and power plant projects. The role involves identifying and facilitating major EPC/EPCC/EPC+F opportunities in Africa, especially Nigeria, and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, facilitate, and obtain major EPC/EPCC/EPC+F opportunities in Africa, especially in Nigeria.
• Facilitate direct engagement between CNCEC International and project decision-makers.
• Support project qualification, commercial discussions, and project contracting.
• Maintain good relationships with the senior management of clients, investors, shareholders, and key decision-makers.

Requirements

• Candidates with work experience in oil & gas and chemical industries preferred.
• Prior work at major oil & gas firms or chemical enterprises is a plus.
• Well-established senior-level network across government and regulators, oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, chemical, and core industrial sectors.
• Direct access to Government agencies like NUPRC, NMDPRA, MDGIF, National/Private Oil Companies, IOCs, and Petrochemical companies.
• In-depth expertise in oil & gas and petrochemical market.
• Adhere to company’s arrangements, maintain a proactive work attitude, approach all tasks with a serious and conscientious mindset, and stay consistently results-oriented.
