About the role
Accountant
First Metro is hiring an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, prepare reports, and ensure statutory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports
- Manage general ledger, journal entries and reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Support budgeting, forecasting and audits
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel
- Good knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and statutory compliance
- ICAN/ACCA certification is an advantage
