Senior Sales Manager

Business Day Newspaper is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive enterprise sales of its digital subscription products, build strong relationships with corporate clients, and deliver revenue growth through strategic account acquisition and management.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise sales of BusinessDay's digital subscription products
• Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate and institutional clients
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across organisations
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations
• Negotiate contracts and successfully close high-value deals
• Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and editorial teams to maximise client value
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Mass Communication, or a related field
• Minimum of 6–10 years' experience in sales
• Demonstrable experience in enterprise sales, with a strong preference for digital subscription sales
• Experience selling to corporate organisations, financial institutions, government agencies, or large enterprises
• Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset
