Accountant (FMCG)

We are looking for a business-savvy accountant to join our branches. The role involves assisting management in decision-making through financial analysis, coordinating stocktaking, and ensuring efficient cash management and banking activities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting management in the decision-making process by monitoring budgets and financial forecasts.
• Coordinating weekly and monthly stocktaking.
• Examining financial records for accuracy.
• Ensuring efficient cash management and banking activities.
• Handling stock reconciliation and inventory monitoring.
• Collecting and analyzing data for preparation of weekly and monthly estimates.
• Performing general accounting activities, including preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Generating monthly results and implementing monthly variance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
• Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ICMA, ICAN, ACA, etc.).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the hospitality or FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in Excel is a must.
• High integrity and confidentiality.
• Business savvy and detail-oriented with expert knowledge of GAAP accounting procedures.
