About the role

Manager - Broadband Regional Sales North West

Lead the regional broadband sales strategy and team across MTN's North West footprint. You'll drive revenue growth, manage P&L, oversee direct and indirect sales channels, and ensure achievement of regional targets across the full product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Regional broadband Sales team
  • Achieve revenue, airtime sales, data device, data and VAS revenue, and gross connection targets in the assigned region
  • Drive execution of MTNN's broadband agenda including visibility, merchandising, retail expansion, and loyalty programs
  • Execute channel strategy: relationship building with partners, loyalty programs, profitability, and credit management
  • Ensure consistent customer experience across all retail formats
  • Manage regional OPEX and P&L
  • Ensure effective field coverage by direct and auxiliary sales force
  • Develop and implement coaching programs for regional sales teams
  • Execute sales and distribution strategies for sustainable channel growth
  • Oversee regional dealerships and sales channels to meet overall targets
  • Manage territory coverage, stock availability, and recommended retail pricing (RRP)
  • Liaise with regional Stock/Inventory team on performance and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly stock forecasts

Requirements

Education:

  • First degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or Social Science
  • Fluent in English; local language proficiency preferred
  • Post graduate degree (advantageous)

Experience:

  • 6–13 years' total experience
  • 4+ years in a manager track record
  • At least 3 years in relevant sector/industry
  • Sales experience in FMCG, Telecoms, Services, or Logistics
  • Telecoms experience (added advantage)
  • Experience working across diverse cultures and geographies (advantageous)
