Aster Bloom Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced early years and primary classroom teacher to deliver engaging, learner-centred instruction while fostering pupils' academic, social, emotional, and character development. You will create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum and academic standards
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate pupils' academic progress and maintain accurate records
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom resources
• Foster pupils' intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development
• Promote positive behaviour, discipline, and respect through effective classroom management
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs of pupils
• Integrate appropriate teaching resources and technology into classroom instruction
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding pupils' academic progress and well-being
• Support the school in promoting character development by modelling integrity, responsibility, kindness, respect, and excellence
• Participate actively in staff meetings, training programmes, school events, and extracurricular activities
• Comply with the school's safeguarding, health, safety, and child protection policies

Requirements

• Minimum NCE in education or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' teaching experience in a nursery or primary school
• Excellent classroom management and lesson delivery skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good ICT proficiency
• Passion for teaching, child development, and values-based education

Salary

NGN 80,000 – 150,000 monthly
