About the role

Customer Service Executive

Firewood Rice Nigeria is seeking a Customer Service Executive to manage customer inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service in the food production and catering industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels promptly and professionally
  • Provide accurate information on menus, daily specials, pricing, and company policies
  • Handle multiple customer orders simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing
  • Recommend products and suggest add-ons to increase sales through upselling and cross-selling
  • Communicate special requests and dietary requirements to the kitchen team
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders
  • Monitor delivery progress and update customers proactively
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to management
  • Collect and document customer feedback for service improvement
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, sales, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on outlet demand, bulk orders, and sales forecasts

Requirements

  • Minimum OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in any related field
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in food production, catering, or hospitality
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple orders under pressure without compromising accuracy or service quality
  • Customer-centric mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to identify opportunities to increase sales while maintaining high service standards
  • Proficiency in order management systems and Microsoft Office tools

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: ₦100,000 per month
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Benefits: Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) coverage
