About the role

Role Overview

Feed Avenue Ltd is seeking a creative and digitally native Social Media & Content Associate to support content creation and social media management across Feed Avenue Ltd and Sahel Botanicals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging video content, managing social media platforms, and contributing original ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Create a minimum of 4 video contents weekly across Feed Avenue and Sahel Botanicals.
  • Develop original content ideas and experiment with new formats, styles, and approaches.
  • Edit short and long-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Support the creation of carousels and standalone graphics.
  • Write platform-appropriate captions and post copy.
  • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars.
  • Keep up with social media, cultural, and industry trends relevant to both brands.
  • Manage content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Schedule and publish approved content accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to comments, DMs, mentions, and inquiries.
  • Track content and advertising performance and maintain records of inquiries and leads.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly social media reports and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • BA/BSc/HND
  • Must have been deployed or be scheduled for deployment under the NYSC programme in Nigeria at the time of application.
  • Must have at least 10 months remaining in their service year.
  • Strong short-form and workable long-form video editing skills and practical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of CapCut (desktop/PC version).
  • Good working knowledge of Canva and Meta Business Suite.
  • Graphic design skills with a good eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Experience creating social media content and content calendars.
  • Good social media copywriting, analytics, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
