ITAM Specialist

Responsible for managing IT hardware and software, ensuring compliance with IT asset lifecycle, maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset information, and supporting business planning and operations through effective configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Come up with modern ways of managing IT hardware and software.
• Monitor for compliance of all IT Assets.
• Monitor the lifecycle of all IT assets and flag non-compliance.
• Maintain IT assets for accuracy and dependency for business planning and operations.
• Maintain dependencies and interrelationships between configuration items.
• Maintain federated asset management databases.
• Ensure availability of license information to staff and management.
• Ensure information helps in planning changes and determining impact on changes.
• Provide a graphical representation of the company's IS Infrastructure to aid diagnosis of incidents and problems.
• Ensure and maintain a comprehensive and accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Requirements

• First degree in Computer Science or IT related role.
• ITIL 3/4 Foundation certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years experience on management of asset and configuration database.
