Sales Engineer

DexNova Consulting Limited is seeking a Sales Engineer to work closely with the sales team and clients to understand business needs, translate technical solutions into clear value propositions, and support the entire sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations
• Respond to technical inquiries and provide pre- and post-sales technical support
• Assist in proposal development and solution design
• Engage with customers on-site and gather feedback for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with client requirements
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions
• Support customer training sessions
• Contribute to meeting sales targets

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong knowledge of engineering products and systems in Manufacturing and Oil & Gas sectors (valves, pumps, compressors, pipelines, turbines, automation)
• Solid understanding of industrial processes
• Familiarity with installation, maintenance, and lifecycle performance of industrial equipment
• Strong negotiation and commercial awareness (pricing, margins, contracts)
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
