Food & Beverage Manager

Azusa Hotel & Apartments, Abuja is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operations, commercial performance, and team leadership of our F&B Department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily F&B operations across restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service.
• Take ownership of F&B P&L performance, budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting.
• Drive revenue growth and maximise departmental profitability.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, engineering, pricing, and profitability.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, wastage, stock levels, and variances.
• Manage procurement and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Lead recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management of the F&B team.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to identify opportunities for increased F&B revenue.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Food & Beverage management within a reputable hotel or hospitality establishment.
• Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Catering Management, or a related field.
• Strong experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proven knowledge of menu engineering, pricing, and food & beverage cost control.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement, supplier relations, and stock control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, training, and team-development skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation.
