Area Sales Manager

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and oversee operations within an assigned territory. You will lead a sales team, manage distributor networks, and develop strategies to achieve regional targets in the FMCG sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets and business objectives
• Drive sales growth by expanding market penetration and increasing product visibility
• Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, sub-dealers, and retail partners
• Monitor distributor performance and ensure adequate product availability
• Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed performance targets
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
• Conduct regular market visits to evaluate sales performance and competitor activities
• Gather customer feedback and provide market intelligence
• Prepare periodic sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses
• Ensure compliance with company sales policies and operational standards
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of sales management experience in FMCG industry
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets
• Experience managing distributors, wholesalers, and dealer networks
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
