About the role

Business Development Manager

Bogo Beverages is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, market expansion, and brand visibility across Lagos Island and Lagos Mainland territories.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth and market penetration within the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase product visibility and availability across on-premise and off-premise channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts
  • Ensure optimal product placement, merchandising, and brand visibility at all points of sale
  • Monitor market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to identify growth opportunities
  • Support inventory management initiatives, including stock availability, stock rotation, and new product launches
  • Recruit, train, coach, and manage sales representatives within the assigned territory
  • Set performance targets, monitor team productivity, and conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates for management
  • Represent the company's vision, mission, and values in all business interactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5–9 years of proven experience in the wines and spirits industry
  • Strong track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent understanding of route-to-market strategies and territory management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing sales teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Must reside within Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, or surrounding areas
  • English language proficiency
  • MBA or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage

Salary

NGN 600,000 – 800,000 monthly
