About the role
Head of Marketing & Sales (Media & Entertainment)
Rovedana is seeking a Head of Marketing & Sales to drive revenue growth by developing and executing winning creative digital strategies for clients. You will lead business development, manage key client relationships, and drive commercial opportunities with top brands through prospecting, lead nurturing, and strategic pitching.
Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities and develop effective strategies to approach and pitch solutions and capabilities
- Establish high-level contacts and ensure adherence to defined sales processes
- Close deals and work towards revenue targets
- Manage client relationships and provide excellent service and support
- Collaborate with project execution teams to ensure customer goals are achieved
- Continuously engage customers and decision-makers to identify upsell, resell, and new business opportunities
- Develop internal strategies and processes to strengthen market presence and market share
- Manage communication and processes across teams, particularly with Account Management
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and innovative client solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development
- Proven experience with a notable media or advertising agency as a lead marketer or sales manager
- Creative thinker with ability to connect 360° digital solutions to client business needs
- Strong understanding of digital marketing; professional qualification desirable
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing software (HubSpot, Pardot)
- Detailed understanding of social media networks and media marketing methods
- Excellent networking and key client/partner relationship management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Salary
₦600,000 – ₦700,000 monthly net
Benefits: 13th Month Salary, Negotiable Commission Package, Health Insurance, Performance Bonus
