Business Development Lead

About the Role This is a strategic business development position focused on pipeline management, client acquisition, and revenue growth. You'll own opportunities from identification through closure, develop proposals, and engage senior decision-makers to drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the organization's business opportunity pipeline, tracking progress from identification through closure
• Develop and execute client acquisition strategies to secure new business and expand the client base
• Lead proposal development including capability statements, presentations, expressions of interest, and client solutions
• Build relationships with corporate decision-makers and prospective clients through meetings and presentations
• Coordinate internal teams to support opportunity development and ensure commitments are delivered
• Identify emerging commercial opportunities and monitor market trends
• Maintain visibility and accountability across all active opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience in business development, client acquisition, corporate sales, consulting, professional services, or related fields
• Demonstrated track record of generating and converting business opportunities
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and corporate engagements
• Strong proposal-writing and presentation skills
• Ability to think commercially and strategically with strong bias for execution
• Confidence engaging senior decision-makers
• Understanding of B2B sales, consulting, and professional services
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-directed with ability to take ownership without constant supervision

Salary NGN 250,000 – 350,000 monthly
