Bidding & Tendering Lead

RoadLamp Limited, an EPCI with over 7 years in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a Bidding & Tendering Lead to manage the end-to-end tendering process — from identifying and reviewing tender opportunities through preparation, coordination, submission, and follow-up of competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end bidding and tendering process for projects and opportunities
• Review ITTs, RFPs, RFQs, and other tender documentation
• Analyze tender requirements, scope of work, and commercial terms
• Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions
• Develop and maintain tender schedules
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, finance, HSE, and other departments
• Ensure tender submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant
• Identify gaps, risks, and concerns in tender documents; escalate appropriately
• Support bid strategy development to improve competitiveness
• Coordinate clarification requests during the tender process
• Maintain an organised database of tender opportunities, submissions, and outcomes
• Conduct post-tender reviews for lessons learned
• Support management in bid/no-bid decisions and client presentations
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive commercial and tender information

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles
• Experience in bidding/tender preparation within Oil & Gas, EPC, or EPCIC industries is an advantage
• Experience with tendering platforms (e.g., ARIBA) is an advantage
• Strong understanding of technical and commercial tender documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tender/proposal preparation tools
