About the role

Full-Stack Web Developer & Graphic Designer

Ossaj Services is a leading technical service company seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer & Graphic Designer to play a dual role, blending technical expertise in web development with creative proficiency in graphic design. You will develop and maintain user-friendly web applications while creating visually appealing graphic designs that enhance user experience and align with brand identity.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack Web Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-centric websites and web applications
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend frameworks (Node.js, Python, PHP)
  • Build and integrate APIs, databases, and server-side applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance and fix bugs
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional features

Graphic Design:

  • Create compelling visual assets including web layouts, UI elements, logos, banners, and marketing materials
  • Develop cohesive branding materials and guidelines
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma to design engaging visuals
  • Collaborate with marketing and development teams to ensure design alignment
  • Conduct user research and apply feedback to enhance design effectiveness

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Experience with backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP
  • Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience with web hosting platforms and deployment tools
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) or Figma
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, and UX/UI design methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow)
  • Cloud certification (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Fundamentals)
  • Agile and Scrum certifications
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
  • Previous experience in a similar dual role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web and graphic design projects

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving capabilities
  • Attention to detail and passion for high-quality work

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 10am–7pm WAT
