Sales Relationship Manager
The Sales Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products and services, enhance brand awareness, and drive business growth. This role requires creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of market trends to ensure successful marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual Sales and Marketing Strategy for Management and Board approval.
- Drive achievement of risk asset and deposit mobilization targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for business expansion.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and product innovations.
- Ensure Portfolio at Risk (PAR) is maintained within Board-approved threshold.
- Drive adherence to credit policies, KYC, and AML requirements.
- Monitor loan performance and support recovery efforts where required.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets.
- Set, monitor, and report team performance goals and KPIs.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to Executive Management.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling of Bank products and services.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor Sales Supervisors and Officers.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Foster a high-performance and compliance-driven sales culture.
- Ensure full compliance with CBN guidelines and internal policies.
- Act as Management representative in sales-related matters.
- Escalate risk exposures and performance concerns promptly.
Requirements
- A good First Degree from a reputable university (Preferably in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field).
- 2 years or more experience in sales (Preferably in a commercial bank, MFB or insurance banks).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
