Embedded Firmware & BMC Specialist

Gidia Oaks Limited (GoL) is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware & BMC Specialist to join its engineering team in Lagos. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge firmware development, OpenBMC, secure boot technologies, and low-level hardware integration for next-generation data centre infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for data centre infrastructure
• Work with OpenBMC firmware and secure boot technologies
• Perform low-level hardware integration and debugging
• Develop Linux kernel modules and device drivers
• Conduct JTAG/SWD debugging and hardware-level development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in embedded systems or firmware engineering
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel-level development, device tree configuration, kernel modules, and driver compilation
• Practical experience with JTAG/SWD debugging, embedded C programming, and hardware-level development
• Familiarity with U-Boot, OpenBMC firmware, and Git version control

Salary ₦900,000 – ₦1,300,000 gross per month (Negotiable)
