Finance Officer – PREHYA

The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, monitoring project expenditure, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational financial procedures. They will also support budget development, asset management, and financial capacity building of project staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for the project.
• Process payments and maintain supporting documentation.
• Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with donor and organizational financial procedures.
• Support budget development and forecasting.
• Maintain asset and inventory records.
• Prepare documentation for audits and donor reviews.
• Support financial capacity strengthening of project staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in NGO finance management.
• Experience managing donor-funded grants.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
