About the role

Community Manager

Role Overview This is a full-time hybrid role based in Lagos with flexibility for remote work. The Community Manager will build, grow, and manage online and offline communities, engaging with members and fostering positive experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create and curate community content
  • Moderate community discussions
  • Organize community events (online and offline)
  • Analyze engagement metrics and identify improvement areas
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align community goals with business objectives
  • Foster communication and positive atmosphere among members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline (preferred)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
  • Experience in Social Media Management, Content Creation, and Community Engagement
  • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and generate strategic insights
  • Proficiency with digital tools for communication and content management
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to build and manage vibrant communities (online and offline)

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with tech industry trends
