About the role

Technical Sales Manager (Fish-Feed)

Chi Farms Ltd. is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive market penetration and aggressive customer acquisition for our commercial fish feed portfolio across Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain a robust network of fish feed distributors, dealers, and individual farmers to scale monthly sales volumes
  • Execute aggressive sales strategies to challenge competitors and capture market share for feed products
  • Efficiently manage a multi-state field sales territory with optimal route planning and maximum physical farm visits
  • Act as a technical bridge between farm operations and external clients, capturing and addressing customer feedback on feed quality
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets (working toward a pipeline scaling to 100 MT/month)
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales volumes, customer acquisition costs, pipeline updates, and market challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Aquaculture & Fisheries, or related field (Aquaculture or Fisheries Science is an added advantage)
  • 7–10 years of working experience as a Sales Executive in Fish-Feed
  • In-depth technical knowledge of the aquaculture industry, including fish farming practices, feed requirements, and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
