About the role
Account Partner - SME Sales
MTN Nigeria is seeking an experienced Account Partner to manage enterprise sales for allocated corporate accounts in the Badagry region. This role involves consultative account management, strategic sales planning, and solution coordination to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on potential customers, their industry, IT infrastructure, and digitalization priorities using CRM and sales-intelligence tools
- Identify new prospects and opportunities within relevant industries
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly enterprise sales reports, contractual documentation, and status reports; maintain accurate CRM pipeline hygiene and forecasting
- Log and escalate customer requests, queries, and complaints with troubleshooting support
- Coordinate with pre-sales, solution architects, delivery teams, and technology partners to scope, design, and price solutions
- Build and maintain excellent partnership relationships with customers based on trust and business understanding
- Help customers understand MTN's ICT solutions value proposition and business outcomes
- Liaise with supervisors on pricing/discount matters and engage internal delivery teams for alignment
Requirements
- First degree in a related discipline
- 3–7 years' experience in solution-selling or technology sales
- Minimum 3 years in a specialized area with experience supervising others
- Demonstrated B2B solution/technology-selling experience from a System Integrator, ICT solutions provider, managed service provider, OEM/technology vendor, data-centre/cloud provider, or telco enterprise business
- Experience in medium to large organizations
- Track record of selling technology solutions and meeting/exceeding sales quotas
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Fortinet, ITIL, or recognized consultative-selling methodology) are an advantage
