About the role
Territory Sales Executive
Lumos is hiring Territory Sales Executives to build, manage, and expand strategic partnerships across multiple locations in southern Nigeria. This is a field-based sales role focused on driving solar product distribution and customer acquisition in assigned territories.
Responsibilities
- Drive field sales and distribution of solar products within assigned territories to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets
- Identify and acquire new customers through direct field sales, community engagement, and market activations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to increase product adoption and retention
- Conduct regular field visits, prospecting, and door-to-door sales activities to generate leads and close sales
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, usage, and payment options
- Execute territory sales plans, campaigns, and business development activities
- Monitor competitor activities, customer feedback, and market trends; provide insights to management
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against KPIs and submit accurate field reports
- Collaborate with sales operations, customer service, and marketing teams
- Attend regular sales meetings and training sessions
- Conduct customer visits and acquisition validations to confirm installations and authenticity of sales
Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years' experience in partner development, business development, or channel management
- Experience preferably in solar, renewable energy, microfinance banking, telecommunications, or FMCG sectors
- Strong knowledge of solar PV technology and renewable energy financing models
- Proven track record of developing successful partnerships with measurable results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with strategic mindset
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects
- Willingness to travel as required
Salary
₦150,000 net monthly pay with incentives up to ₦800,000.
