ABNM HR is recruiting a Driver to safely operate various types of vehicles and transport passengers, goods, or materials while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate cars, vans, trucks, and buses in accordance with traffic laws and regulations
• Transport passengers, goods, or materials from one location to another, adhering to schedules and routes
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (checking oil, fuel, water levels)
• Use navigation tools (GPS, maps) to determine best routes and avoid congestion
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure passenger/client comfort and safety
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and securing
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle inspections, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and wear appropriate safety gear
• Respond calmly to emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns
• Maintain professional appearance representing the company
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to schedule and route changes

Requirements

• Diploma qualification
• Valid driver's license appropriate for vehicle type (CDL for trucks/buses)
• Expertise in operating standard and automatic transmissions
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and routine maintenance
• Strict adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities and ability to handle emergencies calmly
• Efficient time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Thoroughness in documentation and record-keeping
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Adequate physical fitness for long hours and potential loading/unloading
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Understanding of local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance

Salary

NGN 70,000 – 150,000 per month
