Consultant English Studies Scope and Sequence Curriculum Specialist
The British Council is seeking a consultant to review and refine the curriculum mapping and alignment approach for English Studies. The role involves developing and validating the Scope & Sequence Framework, creating instructional templates, and providing cross-cutting recommendations. The consultant will also facilitate TLM workstream sessions and deliver well-presented materials.
Responsibilities
- Review and refinement of the curriculum mapping and alignment approach.
- Development and validation of the Scope & Sequence Framework and templates.
- Draft concepts for the Structured Pedagogy Framework and lesson routines.
- Cross-cutting recommendations across assessment alignment, literacy progression, teacher competency, inclusivity, implementation readiness, and digital adaptation.
- Preparation and facilitation of TLM workstream sessions.
- Deliverables include an inception note, Scope & Sequence Framework, structure paper, concept paper, and workshop materials.
Requirements
- Experience in curriculum development and English studies.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical frameworks.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work remotely.
