Debt Recovery & Guarantor Relations Officer

Abelinis Limited is seeking a diligent and results-driven Debt Recovery & Guarantor Relations Officer to manage outstanding employee obligations, follow up on repayments, engage guarantors, and ensure timely resolution of debt recovery cases.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with employees on outstanding debts and financial obligations.
• Contact guarantors and manage recovery-related communications.
• Track repayment commitments and follow up on overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate records of debts, repayments, and recovery activities.
• Document all communications, recovery efforts, and payment agreements.
• Escalate unresolved or disputed cases to the appropriate team.
• Reconcile recovered payments and update recovery records.
• Prepare reports on outstanding debts, recoveries, and pending cases.
• Handle employee and guarantor information with confidentiality.
• Ensure all recovery activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.
• Experience in debt recovery, credit control, customer service, or HR is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Professional, persistent, and able to manage difficult conversations effectively.
