Accountant

A4&T Power is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and support the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
• Process journal entries, invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Monitor accounts payable and ensure timely payment of suppliers and vendors.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Prepare and file statutory returns including VAT, PAYE, WHT, Pension, NSITF, ITF, and other applicable taxes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
