Accountant – Cross River

Domeo Resources International (DRI) seeks an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare comprehensive financial reports, monitor transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hospitality or restaurant accounting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor income, expenses, and daily financial transactions; manage bank, sales, and operational reconciliations
• Process invoices, payments, payroll, and supplier transactions with proper documentation
• Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Support internal and external audit exercises and implement financial controls
• Analyze financial performance, identify risks, and recommend cost reduction strategies
• Prepare management summaries and performance reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Preferred: Experience in hospitality, restaurant, lounge, or resort operations; understanding of hospitality financial operations and inventory accounting
