About the role
Senior IT Sales Manager
Ouranos Technologies is seeking an accomplished Senior IT Sales Manager to drive business growth by identifying, developing, and closing strategic enterprise opportunities across West Africa.
You will report to the Head of Sales and be responsible for managing strategic accounts and leading complex sales engagements from prospecting through contract closure. This is an individual contributor role focused on expanding Ouranos' market presence in the enterprise technology space.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Manage strategic enterprise accounts and drive long-term customer growth
- Lead the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract closure
- Conduct executive presentations and solution demonstrations
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to develop winning customer solutions
- Prepare compelling commercial proposals and negotiate complex contracts
- Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and tender opportunities
- Maintain a healthy and predictable sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across existing accounts
- Represent Ouranos professionally at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of enterprise IT sales experience
- Demonstrated success selling enterprise technology, system integration, or IT infrastructure solutions
- Proven experience managing complex B2B sales cycles
- Strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing strategic enterprise accounts
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies
- Experience preparing commercial proposals and responding to enterprise tenders
- Excellent knowledge of CRM platforms and sales pipeline management
