Head, Power Training & Consulting

Lead the power sector practice at Michael Stevens Consulting, including training programs and engineering consulting. Own the P&L, drive business development, and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the power industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and business leadership for the firm's power sector practice
• Own full P&L responsibility for the power practice
• Lead business development and client acquisition
• Set strategic direction for technical training curricula
• Own relationships with DISCOs, GENCOs, TCN, IPPs, and NERC
• Drive performance management and team building

Requirements

• B.Eng / B.Sc in Electrical/Power Engineering; MBA/M.Sc strongly preferred
• COREN registration required
• Deep working knowledge of NERC regulations and grid codes
• Minimum 15 years' experience in the power sector
• Proven track record in strategic and business management
• Demonstrated success in business development and executive-level client relations
• Strong background in performance management and team building
