Marketing Officer – Martglobal Limited

We are seeking proactive and result-oriented Marketing Officers to drive sales and expand our customer base in the polythene manufacturing industry. The ideal candidates will identify new business opportunities, maintain customer relationships, promote products, and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for polythene products
• Market and promote products including nylon bags, shopping bags, packaging materials, and shrink films
• Generate leads through field marketing, referrals, cold calling, and digital channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and corporate customers
• Conduct regular market surveys to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals to prospective clients
• Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and orders
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets
• Collaborate with production and operations teams on order fulfillment
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and market intelligence
• Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and business development events

Requirements

• OND/HND/B.Sc. Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–3 years of marketing or sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or related industries
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify customer needs and close sales effectively
• Good knowledge of Lagos markets and industrial/commercial areas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to travel for client visits and business development activities

Salary

• Basic Salary: N80,000 – N120,000 per month
• Sales Commission: Earned on every confirmed sale
