Consultant Family Physician

ECWA Hospital, Egbe is seeking a committed and experienced Consultant Family Physician to join our clinical and academic team. The role involves providing clinical leadership within the Family Medicine Department and contributing to the day-to-day administration, clinical supervision, and training of Family Medicine residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the Family Medicine Department
• Contribute to the day-to-day administration, clinical supervision, and training of Family Medicine residents
• Report to the Medical Director
• Participate in hospital community life, mentorship of colleagues, and promotion of best practices in patient care

Requirements

• Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or West African College of Physicians (WACP)
• Minimum of one year of licensed experience in Family Medicine within a recognized medical practice
• Previous experience in a mission hospital will be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, respectful, and patient-centred
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to the vision, mission and values of ECWA Hospital Egbe
