Role Overview

A Civil Engineering position at Midela Luxury Homes Limited, responsible for assisting senior engineers and project managers in supervising construction activities on residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers and project managers in supervising construction activities on residential and commercial development projects.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
• Assist with setting out, measurements, inspections, and verification of construction works.
• Monitor concrete works, blockwork, reinforcement, formwork, foundations, drainage, roads, and other civil/structural works.
• Coordinate with contractors, artisans, suppliers, consultants, and other project team members.
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports and document project progress.
• Identify construction defects, quality issues, and deviations and report them promptly.
• Assist with material inspections and quality-control checks.
• Ensure safe working practices are maintained on site.
• Assist in monitoring project schedules, quantities, and work progress.

Requirements

• B.Sc./B.Eng. in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant construction/site experience.
• Good understanding of building construction and civil engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of relevant engineering/project-management software is an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively on active construction sites.

Salary Remuneration is open for negotiation and will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, and the responsibilities of the role.
