About the role

Senior Lead - Sales and Trade Development at MTN Nigeria

This is a leadership role focused on driving sales growth, product penetration, and channel operations excellence across the Garki Wuse territory.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales and product activations by ensuring strong brand visibility within assigned territory
  • Manage channel operations and stock levels to meet customer demands
  • Coach, train, and develop direct reports on departmental objectives, targets, and product knowledge
  • Conduct performance reviews and complete employee appraisals following company procedures
  • Oversee technical activities and coordinate team performance
  • Maintain transaction and administrative documentation for business use
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealers and organize channel distributor forums and events

Requirements

  • First degree (B.Sc. or HND) in a Social Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years post-degree experience
  • 3–7 years' experience in area of specialization with supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a medium-sized organization
  • Proficiency with data mining tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Telecoms experience is an advantage
