Cashier – En'point Bakery Limited

We are recruiting a Cashier to join our bakery operations in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for processing customer transactions, maintaining cash records, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting daily bakery operations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and attend to enquiries; recommend bakery products
• Process cash, POS, bank transfers, and other approved payment methods accurately
• Issue receipts for every transaction and count cash before/after each shift
• Balance cash drawer and prepare end-of-day sales reports
• Keep the cashier counter clean and maintain food safety/hygiene standards
• Prepare daily sales summaries and reconcile payments
• Safeguard company cash and assets; verify suspicious transactions
• Assist with customer order bookings and stock-taking as required
• Resolve minor customer complaints and escalate complex issues to supervisors

Requirements

• Minimum SSCE qualification
• 1–3 years' experience as a cashier (preferably in bakery, supermarket, or retail)
• Basic computer literacy and POS system experience (advantageous)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
• Honesty, integrity, and good time management
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts

Salary

NGN 80,000 – 100,000 monthly

Working Conditions: 15 days per month; one day in, one day out rotation.
