About the role
Senior Lead - Sales and Trade Development
MTN is hiring a Senior Lead to drive sales growth, product penetration, and channel management across the Federal Capital Territory. You'll lead a team, manage dealer relationships, and oversee sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Increase sales/activations and product penetration by ensuring brand visibility within territory
- Review channel operations and stock levels; ensure proper stock management to meet customer demands
- Coach and train direct reports on departmental objectives, targets, and product knowledge
- Review individual performance and complete appraisals per company procedures
- Oversee technical activities, coordinate team work, and maintain transaction/administrative documentation
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers; organize channel distributor forums and events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Social Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years post-degree experience
- 3–7 years' experience in area of specialization with supervisory experience
- Medium organization experience
- Data mining tools experience
- Fluent in English
- Telecoms experience (preferred)
