About the role
Outdoor Sales Executive (Building Materials / Ceramics)
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a results-driven Outdoor Sales Executive to drive sales, expand the customer base, and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, contractors, architects, and other key stakeholders within the building materials industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned territories
- Promote and sell ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, building materials, and related products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, architects, builders, and project managers
- Conduct regular field visits to generate leads, close sales, and ensure excellent customer service
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
- Prepare sales quotations, negotiate pricing, and close business opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities
- Follow up on customer orders, deliveries, and payments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and provide market intelligence to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in outdoor sales within the ceramics, tiles, sanitary ware, or building materials industry (mandatory)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong knowledge of the Lagos market and customer network within the building materials sector
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively within Lagos
- Microsoft Office proficiency (added advantage)
