About the role

The Dorothy Njemanze Foundation is hiring a Finance Officer to join our team on a full-time basis in Abuja. This role offers an opportunity to manage financial operations and donor grants for a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations and donor grant administration
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and statutory requirements
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3–5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience
  • Minimum 2 years managing donor grants in an NGO setting
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
  • ANAN or ICAN certification is an advantage
