About the role
ESG Research Analyst - Infrastructure Services
We are looking for an analytical and research-driven ESG Research Analyst to support ESG and sustainability research across the infrastructure services sector. The successful candidate will research and assess ESG issues affecting infrastructure companies, projects and service providers across areas such as transportation, utilities, water and sanitation, telecommunications, PPPs, social infrastructure, and urban development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ESG and sustainability research on infrastructure companies and projects.
- Analyse ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, policies and performance data.
- Identify key environmental, social, governance and climate-related risks and opportunities.
- Assess climate risk, resilience and sustainability performance of infrastructure projects.
- Review social issues including community impact, health and safety, accessibility and stakeholder engagement.
- Assess governance, risk management, procurement and ESG oversight practices.
- Monitor relevant ESG, infrastructure, climate and sustainability regulations and policies.
- Conduct industry benchmarking and support ESG ratings and scorecards.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, dashboards, policy briefs and sector insights.
- Support thought leadership and infrastructure ESG research publications.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Finance, Urban Planning, Infrastructure Management, Public Policy, Project Management or a related discipline.
