Creative Writer

Jorrel Management is seeking a Creative Writer for a full-time, hybrid role based in Ikeja, Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging written content for web pages, marketing campaigns, social media, and other communication channels
• Generate creative concepts and draft compelling copy
• Conduct research to inform content and support credible messaging
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to align messaging with strategic goals
• Adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms
• Proofread and revise materials for quality assurance
• Contribute ideas to improve content performance and brand storytelling

Requirements

• Strong writing and creative writing skills to produce clear, compelling, and original content across multiple formats
• Proficiency in web content writing with ability to create audience-focused, platform-appropriate content
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Solid research skills to gather accurate information and understand target markets
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, SEO basics, and content performance metrics is an advantage
• Prior experience in a creative, marketing, or content-focused role is preferred but not strictly required
