Accountant

Nutri K Limited is seeking an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide reliable financial information to support management decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Record all financial transactions (purchases, sales, payments, receipts)
• Ensure proper cost allocation for raw materials, production, labour, and overheads
• Manage fixed assets register and depreciation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (trial balances, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports)
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting with variance analysis
• Monitor production costs and analyse cost variances
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and support stock counts
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax)
• Support internal and external audits
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Manage supplier payments and follow up on receivables
• Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function

Requirements

• Education: Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance (Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent)
• Experience: 2–3 years in manufacturing maintenance
• Technical Skills: MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook
• Language: English
• Other Skills: Strong communication and teamwork, good time management, ability to work under pressure, proactive, disciplined, safety-focused mindset
• Advantage: Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment
