About the role
Marketing Officer
Kaylog Economic Freedom Campaign (KEFC) is seeking a result-oriented Marketing Officer to drive customer acquisition and loan portfolio growth within the paramilitary and state civil service sectors.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified loan leads from paramilitary agencies and state government employees
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective borrowers through field and virtual marketing campaigns
- Leverage personal networks and referrals to drive business growth
- Identify payroll-based loan opportunities within government institutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Serve as primary point of contact for customers throughout the loan lifecycle
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual loan disbursement targets
- Monitor customer repayment performance and maintain portfolio quality
- Gather and report market intelligence on competitors and emerging opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Banking and Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in marketing, sales, business development, or financial services
- Existing network and customer base within paramilitary and state civil service sectors (required)
- Demonstrated ability to generate and convert quality loan leads
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools
Preferred: Experience in microfinance, consumer lending, fintech, cooperative, or commercial banking
