Marketing and Communications Officer

The Marketing and Communications Officer will support the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. They will manage social media, create content, conduct market research, and assist in event coordination. The role also involves supporting brand communications, customer engagement, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Track campaign performance and compile reports for management review.
• Support the creation of marketing calendars, promotional plans, and product launch activities.
• Manage company social media accounts (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and create and schedule content.
• Monitor engagement analytics, respond to comments/messages where required, and report trends.
• Support paid ads activities with research, content support, and monitoring.
• Draft marketing content including newsletters, blogs, flyers, brochures, web content, and product descriptions.
• Assist with graphic design tasks using Canva or similar tools.
• Support the preparation of corporate presentations and pitch decks.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities.
• Support planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, webinars, conferences, and corporate events.
• Assist in managing CRM updates and customer segmentation.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing activity reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
