Community Manager Intern

Pulse NG is seeking a Community Manager Intern to join their team in Maryland, Lagos. This internship role focuses on building and nurturing online communities, managing social media presence, and creating engaging content across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and moderate community engagement across social media platforms
• Create and curate content for online communities
• Monitor social media trends and community engagement metrics
• Support community management activities during campaigns and live events
• Communicate professionally with diverse audiences

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field
• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, online communities, and content creation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with diverse audiences
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their unique audiences, trends, and features
• Highly organized with good time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to occasionally support community management outside standard working hours during campaigns or live events

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of social media analytics and community engagement metrics
• Experience creating content or managing personal or school social media accounts
