Safeguarding Lead

The Safeguarding Lead will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants in the NiWEMA Scale-Up Programme. This role involves developing and implementing safeguarding policies, monitoring compliance, and providing support to ensure a safe environment for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate compliance with safeguarding standards
• Provide training and support on safeguarding practices
• Collaborate with project teams to address safeguarding concerns

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safeguarding or child protection
• Strong understanding of safeguarding frameworks and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
