About the role
Sales Representative – Solar Energy
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting the company's solar energy solutions, and building strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective residential and commercial customers within assigned territories
- Promote and sell the company's solar energy products and solutions
- Conduct field visits, product presentations, and customer engagements
- Generate leads and convert prospects into customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Achieve assigned sales targets and performance objectives
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs and competitor activities
- Participate in marketing campaigns, roadshows, and other promotional activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in field sales, direct sales, or business development
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven with the ability to work independently
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, telecommunications, FMCG, or related industry is an added advantage
