Operation Supervisor - Inventory Control & Loss Prevention
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing inventory, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure the store operates smoothly and achieves its business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels through regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and implement effective inventory control processes and loss prevention strategies.
- Develop and execute business strategies and marketing activities to boost sales and support store expansion.
- Consistently exceed monthly sales targets set by the Executive Management Team.
- Reconcile daily sales figures with POS/store records accurately.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Investigate stock losses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Generate reports on inventory, stock losses, and operational performance on a monthly basis.
- Identify fast-moving stock and maintain optimal stock levels at all times.
- Analyze sales data to inform process improvements and business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
- Liaise with mall management to ensure smooth store operations.
- Perform all other duties delegated by the Operations Manager and Executive Board.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years proven experience in retail operations, inventory management, or store supervision.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, loss prevention, and sales analytics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of legal regulations and compliance requirements related to retail operations.
